The next wing wide ES Training Day will be held on 3 December 2022 in Plainville. As this is a training day, fam and prep will be offered for both Cadets and Seniors. Our primary focus will be on UDF and mission base staff positions (MRO, MSA, Section Chiefs)

There will be air and ground sorties so pilots and aircrew can expect an email coming shortly looking for volunteers. Also, there will be a Senior Member UDF training session for any Senior Member or pilot who is interested. Where: Mission base operations will be held at the Plainville Composite Squadron. 77 Johnson Ave, Plainville CT When: 3 December 2022 - 0900 - 1500 Who can participate: Senior members and cadets who have completed level 1/ Curry Achievement and who have passed the GES 116 exam. Members must be fully qualified or listed as in training in 1 or more categories on their 101 card in order to participate. Uniform of the day: ABU’s or Polo uniform for seniors, ABU for Cadets. Please check the weather before the activity so you may be prepared for cold or wet weather.

What to bring: CAP ID, Current 101 card, appropriate SQTR'S, CAPF 161, bag lunch, water, safety vest, ground team/UDF gear (if you are a member of a ground team/UDF team going out in the field) Safety: If you have any symptoms of Covid (or are sick at all) or have recently been exposed to someone with Covid please do not attend this activity. Hand sanitizer will be offered to everyone at mission base. Masks are not required. Anyone wishing to be a member of a ground/udf team must have a safety vest. Remember that we train rain or shine so please check the weather before you leave your house. Rain gear/cold weather gear may be required for your participation.
